It appears in the final world, Planet Techo, in two variations:
- Tread: is blue and red with a green eye and moves aimlessly. Periodically, will plant landmines. Has 1 HP and is worth 1000 points.
- Tread II: is green and blue with a red eye and moves erratically at 4x speed, yet can't plant landmines. Has 2 HP and is worth 2000 points.
