The Astral Knights are the main bosses of Bomberman 64: The Second Attack, and are led by the final boss(depending on the player's progress) Rukifelth. The Astral Knights were once the Elemental Knights, meant to watch over their respective stones and realms. Unfortunately they became corrupt/brainwashed by Rukifelth some time before the events of Second Attack, and joined his army to rule the galaxy. All with the exception of Bulzeeb were placed under his control; Bulzeeb joined Rukifelth to gain more power and simply faked the illusion of being controlled. Somehow after joining Rukifelth they lost their elemental stones, and recovered all but the Fire Stone. Bomberman was eventually defeated them one by one and proceeded to the BHB army's headquarters, Warship Noah. Here he defeats Rukifelth and escapes the black hole.

Behemos, Ashtarth, and Baelfael (Left to right)

Baelfael - The Crimson Flame

Description: Fire Knight. Orange & red w/ spiky hair. Fought on the Lost Planet of Alcatraz.
Info: Wielding the element of fire, Baelfael is the youngest of the knights, and is considered the weakest(although he is still more powerful than the average enemy.) He uses fire attacks and is quite a hot-head. He is the only knight not to carry an elemental stone, as Bomberman originally possessed the fire stone.
Name Origin: Baelfael, is derived from either the devil Belphegor, the deity Bael or the term Baal with "fael" added for effect.

Behemos - Lord of the Frozen Wastes

  • Description: Water Knight. Big, blue ice-bomber with a blaster. Fought on the Ocean Planet of Aquanet.
  • Info: Not too much personality-wise, but is unique in that he is one of the two biggest knights and he carries a weapon. He uses Ice to attack as well as using icicles from the roof to stun Bomberman. He also is the only one to wear a robe/cloak type thing.
  • Name Origin: The name Behemos is derived from the Hebrew legend, beast of the land, Behemoth.

Ashtarth - Lord of the Winds

  • Description: Wind Knight. Green, and looks similar to Baelfael. Fought on the Sky Planet of Horizon.
  • Info: The fastest of the group, he can move like the wind (guffaw!) and also has blue limbs. He uses wind to attack, and can also run real fast. He at first seems like an honorable knight, but in the end he's shown to be cunning and tricky. He also looks like Baelfael a bit.
  • Name Origin: The name Ashtarth is a variation of the Goddess Astarte but could also derive from Astaroth, the Grand Duke of Hell or possibly the god Ashur.

Zhael, Molok, and Zoniha (Left to Right)

Zhael - Mistress of the Storm

  • Description: Lightning Knight. Purple & white w/ a feline appearance. Fought on the Game Planet of Starlight.
  • Info: The leader of the game planet, she is shown to be into entertainment. She uses lightning attacks to fight, and also tried to kill Lilith, but was unsuccessful. She is shown to be deceitful, as she tried to trick Bomberman into giving up his elemental stones. She is one of the two female knights.
  • Name Origin: Zhael's name is also derived from both the deity Bael and the term Baal.

Molok - The Raging Earth

  • Description: Earth Knight. Brown and rocky hulking figure. Fought on the Nature Planet of Neverland.
  • Info: Molok is supposedly the oldest of the knights, and gets the most angry with Zoniha. He uses earth based attacks to fight, but also uses lava often. He seems to be like a war veteran, as he learned many things in his old age, especially being cunning, as he destroyed the floor to his arena to kill bomberman (at which he was unsuccesful). He also looks like an evil the Thing.
  • Name Origin: Molok's name is derived from the demon Moloch.

Zoniha - The Purifying Light

  • Description: Light Knight. Yellow armored and feminine. Fought on Epikyur.
  • Info: She is supposedly the strongest of the knights. She uses light type attacks to fight. She intended to make Bomberman and Pommy into her pets, but she was resisted because they didn't die. She is the only knight to have visible hair, excluding Rukifelth.
  • Name Origin: It is not clear what her name is derived from, possibilities include the demons Zagan and Ziminar, the angels Zophiel (or Jophiel), Dumah and Pahaliah, the Incan goddess Zaramama.
Bulzeeb

Bulzeeb

Bulzeeb - The Black Breath

  • Description: Dark Knight. Black, w/ a visor over his face and a jet-type suit. Fought on the Prison Planet of Thantos. Actually Regulus from Bomberman 64, come back for a rematch.
  • Info: The final and most powerful knight. He uses shadow type attacks to do his bidding. He used to be an enemy of Bomberman's, and still is.
  • Name Origin: The name Bulzeeb is derived from the god Beelzebub, and "Regulus" is derived from a star (Regulus), like all other characters of the original (but in Stregheria Regulus is also a fallen angel).
Rukifellth

The Master of Disaster: Lord of chaos: Rukifellth! (tm)

Leader

Rukifellth - The Dark Messenger

  • Description: Leader of the Knights. Blue hair, black hat. Wants to collect the elemental crystals.
  • Info: Actually Lilith's pirate associate, he found the chaos stone and became posessed by Sthertoth, the god of Chaos. He uses chaotic moves, along with a sword. He doesn't seem to have much of a personality, as he's rarely seen during the game, but he seems a little maniacal and deranged (what else would a god of chaos be?). He wears a fashionable hat, and a shoulder thing which looks like a hand, perhaps hinting at his controlled nature.
  • Name Origin: Name possibly derived from the Hindu demons Rakshasa or one of the terms Razakel, Rocketfellow or "Ruckus/Ragnarok."
