Telpio (テルピョー, literally Terupyo) is an octopus-like enemy that appears in a few games Bomberman and originally Bomberman II. It is very similar to the successor, Kurin.

Strategy

Bomberman II

Telpio appears green and white lip. It moves at a speed of 4 and pursue the player on sight.

Bomberman (TG-16)

Telpio appears yellow and red lips as if his true identity. It can pass through soft blocks and can change direction of its own accord.

Bomberman '93

Telpio appears on its robotic version in the World 7 - Techo (the last world in Bomberman 93). If Robot Telpio is destroyed, normal Telpios can reappear in its place. Both versions of the two Telpio can pass through soft blocks. The difference is that the robot has Telpio speed of 2, when the normal Telpio is much faster. Both versions can choose to change directions.
