—Tekka
Tekka (テッカ, Tekka) is an unlockable playable character in Bombergirl. She was first teased in a comic on December 10th, 2021, before her illustration teasers started on December 13. Her introduction happened in the next comic on December 17, and finally, her full illustration and subsequent promotional video were revealed on December 20. Tekka has been added to the game in the "Super Ultimate Bomb Festival Bobonborn" event, which started on December 23.

Tekka is an Attacker-type Bombergirl, based on Konami's Monster Maulers.

Tekka is the president of the ladies' team, the Battalion. Raised by heroic parents who taught her the ultimate fighting techniques, this invincible warrior is now in a period of rebellion!

Basic Abilities[]
As an Attacker, Tekka's strikes are able to blow up the enemies she attacks as they attempt to invade. Not only does she damage said enemies, but she also moves them backwards to unexpected locations. This may be used to great advantage by knocking opponents into ally bombs, attacks, or stage hazards.

Trivia[]
- Tekka is the 20th playable character added to Bombergirl.
- Tekka has a little sister named Anna and a friend named Takako, both of whom are in Battalion with her. Together, the three of them represent Kotetsu, Anne and Eagle from Monster Maulers, with Takako being the best in terms of strength and tension to mirror Eagle.
- Tekka's name and color scheme reference the term of "tekka hada" that represents the character of a woman who quickly loses her temper and fights, but just as easily lets go of the ill will; this mirrors the thermal conductivity of iron, which turns red when heated. Such a woman exhibits male character in being frank, generous and brave, along with being open-hearted. This is clear in the comic that revealed Tekka, as she was quick to cool off from her heated state of fighting off the Happy Droppers, and then she showed her nicer side to everyone, especially to Prune.
- Tekka is the eighth tallest character in the game after Hiiro, standing 165cm tall.
- In the February 7, 2025 comic page, it is officially confirmed that Kotetsu and Anne married, as well as that they are Tekka and Anna's parents; logically, one would infer that Takako is Eagle's daughter. This comic page also presents the first teaser for the new Attacker-class character Suisui.
