Swim (スイム, Suimu) is a rideable enemy from Super Bomberman 4. It comes from a biological Egg.


Swim is a cycloptic red octopus found in the Edo Era. It moves quickly in a straight line until it collides with a block, bomb, or other enemy, at which point it immediately changes directions. It may choose to reverse directions even if it is not at a dead end. After passing over several tile spaces, Swim will slow down and stop on one tile space before preparing itself and kicking off into motion once again. It will harm the player on collision. It takes 2 hits to defeat and yields a score of 200 points.

Upon defeat, Swim becomes a biological Egg. In Battle Mode, it can be found randomly in Eggs that are uncovered in Soft Blocks, but only after the password 0164 has been entered.


Players who ride Swim can use a dash ability. By pressing the Y button, Swim will move quickly in a straight line, only stopping once it collides with a wall or bomb.
