The Steam Boiler (unofficial name) is a trap in Bomberman '94.
Description[]
It is found in Final Area. These impassable 1 tile boiler will release steam at random time interval. The steam is released one tile ahead in two directions, and in two possible ways; either up and down, or left and right sides. If the player collides with the steam, they will not suffer any damage, but they will jump on the spot they are (bombs and enemies are not affected).
