The Sky Room is a level in the game, Bomberman Hero. It is located at Planet Bomber, at the Bomber Base, also known as Area 1. Within the Sky Room, Bomberman can find an Adok Bomb. The Rank 5 target score for the Sky Room is 4000 (3500 for Japanese version), and the cap is 4050. Here, a new hazard, bottomless pits, are introduced.
History[]
After Bomberman clears either the Secret Room or the Heavy Room, he finds himself high above the tower of Bomber Base where solid ground is not as abundant as it was in the previous levels. If Bomberman makes an ill-timed jump, he will be penalized by losing a life as there are bottomless pits, so learning to time jumps is vital here. Not only that, but Bomberman must find a Card Key in order to leave the Sky Room. There are also conveyor belts that can impede Bomberman's progress, which were seen back at the Hyper Room, so a switch must be pressed to stop the belts.
Enemies[]
Traps[]
Adok Bombs[]
The Adok Bomb can be found at the beginning of the level if Bomberman first goes up, jumps, and watches Black Bomberman fly away with his ship. Bomberman must then jump left and wait for the platform to rise high enough so Bomberman can reach the Adok Bomb.
Treasure Hunt[]
- Millian's Treasure Hunt - A Rod can be found in this level.
Japanese and Western Version Differences[]
Changes to the Western version:
- The textures on the red pillar structures throughout the stage were updated.
- The second set of BooBoos were raised into the air.
- This change inadvertently enables an exploit where approaching the BooBoos as they are moving to the right causes them to fall and start moving a set distance to the right again, resulting in them moving through the wall if done correctly.
- The second PyonPyon enemy in the path following the two conveyor belts is moved closer to the first one.
- Outer texture of platforms leading to the card key was updated.
- This change also prevents the textures from changing rapidly as they frequently do in the Japanese version.
- A box was added to encase the card key.
- No blue gem on the path of the horizontal moving platform.
- A gold gem is in the box near the SakuSakus instead of a 1-up.
