The Skate power-up (also known as Speed Up or Roller-Shoes) is a recurring item in the Bomberman series. It increases the player's speed by 1.

Strategy

In some games, having more Speed items can actually make gameplay more difficult. Sometimes, having more speed can make it difficult to hide between rows or columns and avoid multiple explosions. It is generally best to observe the game mechanics when maneuvering around hard blocks in Bomberman games, and see how speed affects this.
