SameGame is a puzzle game originally released in 1985 for various platforms. As with other franchises like Lode Runner, the game was licensed to Hudson Soft for distribution on the SNES and Game Boy. In Hudson Soft's rendition, the game stars Honey and Kotetsu, and features several unique play modes not found in other versions.
Although the game was officially released, it is commonly overshadowed by Hudson Soft's Mario version released a year earlier. Notably, the Mario rendition features Bomberman's Japanese voice actor. The main game mode is a recurring minigame in the Bomberman Land series.
