Rodeon is the third boss of Saturn Bomberman.

Description[]

He's a mechanical dog cowboy with his body attached of his mechanical wheeled horse, fought in the Western World. He is the guardian of the Yellow Crystal, which is embedded on its horse. It takes 6 hits to defeat and yields 5000 points, and will drop the Yellow Crystal for Bomberman to collect.

Strategy[]

Rodeon is fought outside face-to-face a train carriage and can only be harmed by hitting him with cannonballs, bombarding the cannons. Strangely, Rodeon himself cannot harm the player on collision, even when he's really close.

Attacks[]

  • While in the distance, Rodeon can use his six shots to explode on a checkered part of the ground, or swing 3 loop rings in arcs. Both attacks can detonate their bombs and harm the player.
  • If Rodeon approaches the carriage, he shakes the ground, stunning the players, and fires 5 carrot missiles. Missiles can be destroyed for 100 points each, but they can detonate their bombs.
  • Rodeon can also fire a small rocket, which will create a hole in the carriage floor that cannot be crossed. This is both a dangerous nuisance and a threat.

Trivia[]

  • The boss bears a strong resemblance to Nuckelavee from Scottish mythology.
