Roboido (ロボィド, Roboido) is an enemy in the Bomberman series. It is a walking robot with large fists.

Description[]

Super Bomberman 3[]

In Super Bomberman 3, Roboido is found in the Battleship. It is initially hidden as a Soft Block on the map. It will awaken and reveal itself when a player comes within one tile space of it, when it is hit by an explosion, or when an explosion comes within one tile space of it or destroys a Soft Block that is beside it. It cannot be damaged until it is in walking mode, but once it has started to rise, it can damage the player.

While in movement Roboido moves quickly, pursuing the player. Occasionally, it will stop in the middle of a tile space and slam its fists down, breaking Soft Blocks to its left and right sides. The attack will also damage players and destroy bombs caught under Roboido's fists.

Roboido never returns to its dormant Soft Block state. It takes 2 hits to defeat and yields a score of 600 points.

Super Bomberman 5[]

In Super Bomberman 5, Roboido is found in Zone 3. It takes 2 hits to defeat and yields a score of 600 points.

Trivia[]

This enemy first appeared as a boss in an earlier Hudson Soft game, Neutopia II.
