The Power Bomb (パワーボム), also known as P-Bomb and Powerful Bomb, is a type of bomb upgrade in the Bomberman series.
Description[]
It transforms the first bomb that a player places into a Power Bomb. The Power Bomb is denoted by a red/orange (sometimes yellow) "P" emblem. Power Bombs will explode with a maximum Fire range that either the games limit to (usually 8), or spread until the flame hits a solid object.[1]
Strategy[]
Only the first bomb that a player places will become a Power Bomb. All other bombs will be regular. If a player wishes to utilize the Power Bomb upgrade, they must take this into consideration and only place one bomb at a time. This plan must be subverted when it is necessary to place more bombs.
If the opponents have Power Bombs, it may be to the player's benefit to trick them into setting more bombs.
In most Bomberman games, a kicked Power Bomb can stun other players on contact, so you can utilize them as part of your attack plan.
