Petan (ペタン Petan) also known as Flop, is an enemy from Super Bomberman 2. It appears in Stage 3.
Petan moves slowly in a straight line until it collides with a block, bomb, or other enemy, at which point it pauses and then chooses a random direction and continues to move. It may choose to reverse directions even if it is not at a dead end. It will harm the player on collision.
When Petan lines up with the player's horizontal or vertical axis and is within 6 tile spaces, it will slide quickly on its stomach toward the player, stopping only if it hits a block, bomb, or another enemy.
Trivia
- "Petan" is a Japanese word that roughly means "flop" in English.
