Parts are equipment items in Bomberman 2 (DS).
Description[]
In the game, Parts can be equipped on the character to give additional effects, skills or increase stats. Each Part requires a certain number of Equip Points (EP) in order to be equipped. The player can equip them only in the customization menus, before starting a mission. They can also be equipped in Versus Mode and Practice Mode. Parts also give the player special bonuses or additional skills, if the player equips them with a same set. Parts are collected in the stages, generally hidden inside Soft Blocks. If a Part has already been collected in a level, it'll be replaced by a Score Panel.
Parts are divided in 4 categories: Head Parts, Body Parts, Arm Parts and Leg Parts. Each category have 24 Parts (20 Standard Parts, and 4 Special Parts), for a total of 96 Parts.

Notes[]
At the start of the game, Bomberman doesn't have any Parts available. But once he obtains his first Part (which is forced in order to progress), he must equip at least one Part available. Also, the combined EP of the equipped Parts must be equal to or lower than his current EP Limit. Otherwise the Error will occur, and you cannot exit the equip screen until the Error is fixed.
