Momite Bomber (Momitebon, also known as Greedy Bomber) is a recurring character in Bomberman B-Daman Bakugaiden IV. A hapless minion of the Dark B-Da's Four Great Dark Beings and their various subordinates, he mainly provides the comic relief on the villains' side throughout the series. His name "Momite" is due to the fact that he often rubs his hands together nervously. He first appears in the fifth episode.
Description[]
Though not a Dark B-Da himself, he is in league with them and his main purpose is to spy on the protagonists and aid the Dark B-Da in their various schemes to conquer B-Da Earth. In some ways, he is one of the more savvy villains who conspires against the heroes, particularly when they are about to shoot themselves in the foot, though he is often powerless to stop it. Slick, greasy and weaselly, he has a habit of muttering behind his superiors' backs, but will quickly deny doing so when overheard; this usually prompts him to start sucking up to his bosses and say something else. His task often involves hilariously taking a lot of abuse for the sake of the villains' plans, and when they are thwarted, it usually ends with them being blasted far off into the sky.
Whenever he runs into the heroes, he claims to have been forced into helping the villains and insists that he is really a good guy, but he is actually not and they know it. Similar to how Blue Bomber says "desu" at the end of every sentence, Momite Bomber says "dayo", as "dayo" means "y'know".
He was voiced by Takehito Koyasu in the Japanese anime.
Bakugaiden IV[]
A B-Daman that always takes the side of the Dark B-Da in order to have an easy life. However, he is treated roughly by the Dark B-Da everyday, and even White Bomber and his friends look down on him, and he is disliked by both good and bad people as a result. He's dissatisfied with this, and when he overhears the contents of the Book of Prophecy, he becomes a hero to defeat the Dark B-Da (although he has already defeated the other three Great Dark Beings in the image, he is still beholden only to Shuringe) and tries to become the savior of B-Da City. He also once took up with Pink Bomber and plotted to steal the Rich Bomber family fortune and live a luxurious life.
He's a cowardly character and an over-zealous sycophant who simply flatters anyone who seems to be strong. His eyes are closed and dull, yet they do open. His first name is "Watakushi" (わたくし) and "Momi" (モミー), but "Oira" (オイラ) in episode 44, with the "-yon" suffix at the end. He also has a weakness for beautiful women (as he sees them as goddesses) and is afraid of heights. He is not good at piloting Dark Armors, and when he was forced to pilot Momite Armor for the first time in Shuringe's mission, he described it as "a reckless mission".
Once he used Hyper Momite Tension, a remote-controlled mecha accidentally created from Gray Bomber's discarded junk, to torment White Bomber and his friends, but the mecha was destroyed by Sildork with a single shot. Although he is a villain, his B-Dama is not muddy red and black like how the B-Dama of the Dark B-Da were, but the same color like the normal B-Damans (Dr. Shadow and Tango are the same).
He has two techniques: "Ultra High-Speed Momite" (50 cycles per second) and "Super Ultra High-Speed Momite" (80 cycles per second). After the Dark B-Da's destruction and Dark Koutei's permanent defeat for good, he claimed to have reformed as good and had a change of heart, but he said that he would not give up his life of fun and luxury, and left the city just in the nick of time (Even Yellow Bomber missed him, saying "People like him are why B-Da City is so interesting."). He also believes that he will be given special treatment because he has continued to flatter the Dark B-Da, but got this special treatment elsewhere after the permanent defeat of the Dark B-Da.
In the manga version, there is a Dark B-Da named Dark Kovic who looks a lot like him. He is Dark Kisak's subordinate and always follows him in word and deed.

B-Daman Final Mega Tune[]
In Final Mega Tune, he appeared as a guest in a hidden scenario in the second round of the game. He is concerned that he did not really get a part in the Bakugaiden V anime (even though he made a physical cameo in the anime), and tries to take the lead role by defeating White Bomber and his friends.
