The Level (LV) is a gameplay element in the Bomberman series.

Description[]

The level is a common features in RPG games, in the Bomberman series, it is featured in a very few games that has RPG elements in them. Basically the player get experience points and after enough of them, they level-up and gain additional skills or increase the ones available.

Bomberman Land 1[]

In this game the level is featured in the Special Mode which has RPG elements in. In this mode, defeating enemies give you EXP, and when you accumulated enough EXP, Bomberman will level up, and his basic abilities (Fire and Bomb) will increase.

Bomberman Story DS[]

In this game, experience is acquired by defeating enemies and increase the player's level. After enough experience is obtained, they will level up and gain new skills. For each level a certain amount of experience is required, and each time a level is increased, the experience is reinitialized to 0 (ex: to get to level 3, you will need a total of 1,000 XP). There are a total of 16 Levels in the game.

Bomberman 2 (DS)[]

In this game, the level serves only at increasing the player's Equip Points (EP). Experience to reach a next level is awarded at the end of the stages. There are 30 levels in total.

Each time a level is increased, the experience is reinitialized to 0 (ex: to get to level 3, you will need a total of 345 XP).

Super Bomberman R 2[]

In this game, they are known as World Levels meaning the LV acquired is only effective in one world, and when visiting a world they don't visited, the player's stats will be reseted by default along with the enabled Power-Ups. Of course, if they goes back in a world they already visited, the level for this world is retained. There a total of 15 Levels by world. the Level progression, stats, exp required is exactly the same for all 3 worlds.

Each time a level is increased, the experience is reinitialized to 0 (ex: to get to level 3, you will need a total of 7,000 XP).
