Kuragarin (クラガリン, Kuragarin) is an enemy in Super Bomberman 2.
Description[]
Kuragarin appears on Stage 5. Its behavior differs depending on whether or not the Light Switch is turned on. Pattern-wise, it is the opposite of Pikarin.
When the Light Switch is off, Kuragarin moves slowly in a straight line until it collides with a block, bomb, or other enemy, at which point it pauses and then chooses a random direction and continues to move. It may choose to reverse directions even if it is not at a dead end. In this mode, it has a smooth, ball-shaped body and a tired expression on its face.
When the Light Switch is turned on, Kuragarin moves quickly, constantly pursuing the player. In this mode, it has spikes all over its body and a shocked expression on its face.
It will harm the player on collision, and takes 2 hits to defeat and yields a score of 200 points.
Trivia[]
- The name "Kuragarin" is based on the Japanese word "kuragari", meaning "darkness". This means that Kuragarin is the dark opposite of Pikarin.
- In the art, Kuragarin is angry to depict its mode when the Light Switch is on.
