Kierun (キエルン, Kierun) is an enemy in the Bomberman series.

Description[]

Appears to be a ghost in an orange jelly shape.

Super Bomberman[]

In Super Bomberman, Kierun is found in Stage 2, Stage 3, Stage 4 and Stage 6. It moves about aimlessly at a speed of 2, turning at intersections and passing through Soft Blocks, only changing directions when it collides with a Hard Block, bomb, or other enemy. It may choose to reverse directions even if it is not at a dead end. Every two to three seconds, it will stop moving and become completely invisible, save for its eyes. When it becomes visible again, it continues its regular movement pattern. It will harm the player on collision. It takes 1 hit to defeat and yields a score of 800 points.

Super Bomberman 5[]

In Super Bomberman 5, Kierun is found in Zone 1. It cannot pass through walls and is indestructible while becoming and being invisible. It takes 1 hit to defeat and yields a score of 300 points.

Bomberman DS[]

It reappears in Bomberman DS, found in Area 5. It takes 1 hit to defeat and yields a score of 800 points.

Trivia[]

  • The name "Kierun" comes from the Japanese word "kieru", which refers to the act of disappearing.
