Hudson Soft is a Japanese corporation located in Tokyo Midtown, Akasaka, Minato, Tokyo, Japan. It was founded on May 18, 1973. Originally, Hudson Soft worked with computers, but soon evolved into video games and mobile content. As of January 2011, Hudson Soft is now owned by Konami.

Hudson Soft was founded on May 18, 1973, by two brothers, Hiroshi and Yuji Kudo. They named their company from their favorite, the Hudson locomotives. As of March 1978, they have began selling video games.

Russian filial is located in Mytischi. It was founded on March 28, 1982 in Veliky Novgorod, USSR, but in 1983 was moved from Veliky Novgorod in Mytischi.
