Hole Lake is a level that appears in Bomberman Hero. It is the second level of Area 2 of Planet Bomber, the Sea of Trees. The Rank 5 target score is 7000 (5000 for Japanese version). Also, this the first level to use the Bomber Marine.
Layout[]
Hole Lake is a level that takes place entirely underwater. There are also many Moai and Sea Urchin Mine enemies that attempt to slow White Bomberman down.
History[]
The main objective of Hole Lake is to reach the end. However, earning the target score may prove difficult but, thanks to the nature of the Bomber Marine, White Bomberman can shift into reverse to collect any missing goodies. The stage features various pillars that can be destroyed, and which hide items. There is also a large, crab enemy at the end of the level that serves somewhat has a boss for the level. After hitting it with enough bombs, White Bomberman can head toward the exit to complete the level.

Adok Bombs[]
There are no Adok Bombs present in this level.
Japanese and Western Version Differences[]
Changes to the Western version:
- Most of the Moai heads fall down before rising up, instead of rising up first (this change makes them more likely to get in Bomberman's way).
- A gold gem is after the series of three blue gems instead of a 1-up.
- A gold gem is in front of the giant enemy crabs instead of a gold heart.
- The exit of the level is reduced in size significantly. In the Japanese version, Bomberman could swim over the crabs to exit the level.
- The second, larger crab takes five hits to defeat instead of three.

Trivia[]
- The player can also play as Gold Bomberman through this level. However, instead of using the Bomber Marine, Gold Bomberman walks normally through the level. The target score has also been raised to 7500 (lowered to 3000 in Japanese version).
