The Hippopotamus (カバ) is a trap that appears in Saturn Bomberman. It swims around slowly in a pool of water, turning each time it collides with the edge of the pool. If the player uses the Power Glove to throw a bomb onto the Hippo, it will yield 100 points and disappear underwater for a while before resurfacing and resuming its movement pattern. Explosions will cause the Hippo to pause in shock, making it easier to throw a bomb onto it.
