Grub Robs is a boss in Bomberman '94 and Bomberman (DS).
Description[]
Bomberman '94[]
Grub Robs is the boss of Buku Buku Sea. He will shoot bubbles from his mouth that can be deadly. If they touch the player, they will stun you for a few seconds and they can also reduce a bomb's radius to one tile no matter the length. He can also use his claws to put out the fuse on a bomb as well. He has to be damaged from the side or behind, but be careful not to get crushed. When the player is beside him on either side, Grub Robs will look at the player with an angered expression, showing from his yellow anger vein, and charge at them. The Line Bomb with the Remote Control are effective against him for damaging him from the front.
After 6 hits, he will take on his second, smaller form. He moves faster and shoot bubbles in all directions in a square every few seconds. After 5 more hits, he will be defeated. He will harm Bomberman on collision. He takes 6 hits to defeat in his 1st form, and 5 hits in the 2nd form (as a total of 11) and doesn't yield any score points.
Bomberman (DS)[]
Grub Robs once again reappears as the Area 3 boss in the Nintendo DS game Bomberman. Grub Robs looks unchanged in appearance, but he now has tiny green eyes. Plus, he no longer charges at the player on either side, and is a lot more slower in speed, but his claws move a little bit faster when defusing bombs. His second form is more oval-shaped and gold in color, has tiny red eyes, and is also slower. The bubbles now stun the player. In a later stage, a giant scorpion that has two forms of large and small size acts like Grub Robs and also shoots bubbles that also stuns the player is the boss.
