Ghostey, Bomberman Quest

Ghostey, known as Bakeron (バケロン, Bakeron) in Japan, is an enemy in Bomberman Quest.

Description[]

Ghostey is found in the Field Zone. It floats aimlessly through the air, passing over the explosions of normal bombs without taking damage. If the player throws a bomb into it with the Power Glove, Ghostey will fall to the ground, unconscious and vulnerable to regular explosions for a moment. It can also be harmed while flying if a Flak Bomb is used.

Ghostey cannot harm Bomberman while it is flying. It can, however, cause collision damage while it is on the ground. It has 5 HP and yields the Safety Shoes upon its defeat.

Trivia[]

  • The Japanese name "Bakeron" comes from the word "bakeru", meaning "to be disguised".
  • Ghostey shares the same Japanese name with Bakkelon.
  • Ghostey bears a strong resemblance to BakeBake.
  • Ghostey bears some resemblance to The Groke from the Moomin series, but it closely matches to her obscure 1960 depiction, Licky-Licky.
