BOMBERMEN... SEVERE THREAT...! DESTROY... THREAT...!

Golem Bomber when the Fort Walker reaches half HP.

The Fort Walker, known as Seventh Rank in Japan, is the second form of Golem Bomber and is fought on Planet Timbertree in Super Bomberman R.

Description[]

It is a monstrous robotic seventh rank chess rook tortoise that has four legs. It has a long neck out of its front, with a single eye with a black sclera and a yellow pupil akin to Golem Bomber. During the second phase of his boss fight, Golem Bomber gets inside the Fort Walker.

The battle against the Fort Walker takes place in a large, square arena.

Fort Walker has only two attacks: Flamethrower and Fireball. Both are issued at random.

Fort Walker's weak spots are its feet, which each take five hits to down. After the feet lose their HP, the Fort Walker's main body is downed, leaving its head vulnerable to damage. Once its head's health drops to half, the Fort Walker's attacks are sped up.

Trivia[]

  • Fort Walker's Japanese name, Seventh Rank, is named after the real-life namesake chess strategy for the rook. In addition, Fort Walker is named after the real-life Fort Walker redoubt in Grant Park, Atlanta, Georgia and the real-life Fort Walker fort in Hilton Head Island, South Carolina, at the mouth of Port Royal Sound. Both are Confederate forts from the U.S./American Civil War.
