Fiber (ファイバー Faibā) is an enemy in the Bomberman series.
Description[]
Fiber is a strange organic heart who can shoot a stream of fire in any direction.
Super Bomberman 2[]
In Super Bomberman 2, Fiber appears in Stage 2. It moves slowly in a straight line until it collides with a block, bomb, or other enemy, at which point it pauses and then chooses a random direction and continues to move. It may choose to reverse directions even if it is not at a dead end. It will harm the player on collision.
Occasionally, it may stop and issue a brief stream of fire in one of the four cardinal directions, provided that there is room for the full attack in that direction. The attack extends out to three tile spaces and will harm the player, but doesn't ignite bombs. While it is attacking, it is invulnerable to explosions. It takes 1 hit to defeat and yields a score of 200 points.
Super Bomberman 5[]
In Super Bomberman 5, Fiber appears in the Zone 2. It features the same behavior as the one from Super Bomberman 2 except that is now vulnerable to explosions when attacking, and tend to shoot its fire less frequently. It takes 1 hit to defeat and yields a score of 200 points.
Bomberman Portable[]
In Bomberman Portable, it reappears in the Lava World. In this game, its appearance has slightly changed, and now has a mouth. It still can breath fire but only from the direction is facing. Its fire breath has a range of 3 and is able to ignite bombs. The Flame Pass will protect the player from its fire breath. It takes 1 hit to defeat and yields a score of 1000 points.
