The Experience (or EXP) is a gameplay element in the Bomberman series.
Description[]
It is used only in a few games, and it is used to reach a next level.
Bomberman Land 1[]
In this game, EXP is featured in the Special Mode which has RPG elements in it. It is obtained by defeating enemies and it is used to increase the level.
Bomberman Jetters (GBA)[]
Strictly used for the Charaboms only, player need to collect Charabom Food to increase their experience in order to reach the next Charabom's level.
Bomberman Jetters (PS2/GC)[]
Strictly used for the Charaboms only, player need to collect Charabom Food to increase their experience in order to reach the next Charabom's level.
Bomberman Story DS[]
In Bomberman Story DS, the EXP is obtained by defeating enemies and it is used to increase the level. Each time a level is increased, the experience is reinitialized to 0. The amount of experience obtained vary depending of the enemies, but bonus exp can be gathered by defeating multiple enemies in Combo chain.
Bomberman 2 (DS)[]
In Bomberman 2 DS, the EXP is not obtained after defeating enemies, but instead obtained at the end of the stage, the EXP is attributed depending of the player's performance during the stage. It serves at increasing the level.
Bombergirl[]
In Bombergirl, the EXP is known as Team XP and is used to increase the Team Levels.
Super Bomberman R 2[]
In this game, experience is obtained by collecting EXP Panels, dropped by defeated enemies or hidden inside Soft Blocks. It serves as increasing the player's World Level. Each time a level is increased, the experience is reinitialized to 0.
