Drill Max (MA-3) is one of the Proto-Max Units. He is the second prototype seen (counting Bomber Zero). When first attacked, he was fighting Birdy, but when the Jetters retreated, he faced Ninja Bomber. He next appeared to keep Jetters from stopping the arms. Shirobon and Birdy defeated him by working together. Later, he is summoned by Dr. Mechado to form Dark Force Bomber. After Dark Force Bomber's downfall, Drill Max is destroyed for good.
