Drakken

Drakken (ドラーケン Dorāken) is a villain in Bomberman B-Daman Bakugaiden IV and one of the Dark B-Da's Four Great Dark Beings (四天王 Shitennou). He is the first member sent by Dark Koutei to conquer B-Da City. Drakken has major ego issues, which is his weakness. He enjoys having his minions make him long titles to honor his battle prowess; usually, a lackey makes one with numerous superior words such as "Super", "Ultra", and "Oh Great". Momite Bomber proves particularly good at this. However, this ultimately leads to his downfall. He was voiced by Kunihiko Yasui in the Japanese anime.

B-Daman Bakugaiden[]

Commanded by Dark Koutei to subdue B-Da City and their defenders, he is aided in his attempt to defeat the protagonists by his minions Dark Iyami, Dark Ibari and Dark Shinobi, who are responsible for gathering the B-Da Energy to use for their own devious purposes and sabotaging the B-Da Armors built by Dr. Gray Bomber. After they fail in their efforts, he disposes of them by dropping them into the space that comprises the dimension of the Dark B-Da's homeworld.

After mind-controlling Yellow Bomber and using him to fight against White Bomber with a mecha of his own, he was able to defeat the latter when they met in battle. Hagane Soryu overpowered White Gale's "B-Da Cannon" attack and severely damaged the B-Da Armor, sending White Bomber to the infirmary in serious condition. This led his mecha to be upgraded with a recovered Yellow Bomber's help. Though he came back to finish them off, he was defeated at the hands of White Gale II; ironically, this happened while he was distracted by reading out one of his long titles that he wanted his foes to address him with. White Bomber's improved B-Da Armor was able to blow a hole in Drakken's Hagane Soryu with one shot, blowing up the machine and sending him packing. He was subsequently imprisoned by Dark Koutei for his failure to conquer B-Da City.

Drakken's true identity is Tokageron (トカゲロン).

Dark Armors[]

Hagane Soryu[]

His Dark B-Da Armor is called Hagane Soryu (鋼蒼竜 Hagane Soryu), and has the ability to fire two metal B-Dama shots at once when the mouth opens. This is its main attack, "Dark Metal Shot", possessing significantly more destructive power than Dr. Gray Bomber's first-generation B-Da Armors can handle. None of their attacks are shown to have any effect on it with the exception of Yellow Shooter. Even with Black Bomber's help, the heroes weren't able to beat him; in fact, Drakken was able to destroy his Black Gattinger by ripping off its rotary cannon using Hagane Soryu's jaws on its torso.

Darkness Dragon[]

It is the combination of the 4 Dark Armors; Hagane Soryu, Kurogane Byakko, Tsubasa Suzaku and Yoroi Genbu, all transformed and combined at the same time.
