Doronpa (ドロンパ, Doronpa) is a recurring enemy in the Bomberman series.

Description[]

It is a ghost that can teleport to evade bomb explosions.

Super Bomberman 4[]

In Super Bomberman 4, Doronpa is found in Super Future. It moves at a normal pace, pausing before turning upon collision with a wall, bomb, or other enemy. If it lines up horizontally or vertically with a player, it will change directions and move toward that player. It will harm the player on contact.

Periodically, Doronpa will stop, spread its arms, and warp to another spot on the map. While it is in the process of warping, it is invulnerable to explosions. It takes 1 hit to defeat and yields a score of 400 points.

Super Bomberman 5[]

In Super Bomberman 5, Doronpa is found in Zone 4. In this game, it does not pause before changing directions and does not change directions upon colliding with another enemy. It takes 1 hit to defeat and yields a score of 400 points.

Bomberman Portable[]

In Bomberman Portable, it appears in the Spook World. It moves slowly but still retains the ability to turn invisible before warping to another part of the map. While it is in the process of warping, it can't be harmed. It takes 1 hit to defeat, and yields a score of 400 points.

Trivia[]

  • The name "Doronpa" comes from the Japanese word "doron", meaning "escaping".
