The Dark Army (ダーク軍団) is a recurring group in the Bomberman Land series and related games.
Description[]
The group first appeared in Bomberman Land 1 and consists of 5 members, Dark Bomber being the leader. Other members include Dark Rose, Dark Doll, Dark Witch and Dark Piece.
Bomberman Land 2[]
In Rescue Pretty Bomber!!, the Army captures Pretty Bomber and takes over Bomberman Land. Each villain controls a different zone and has put it under the spell of a record player. The player must defeat each character and restore each zone, eventually confronting Dark Bomber at a chapel on Dolphin Island where he is planning to marry Pretty Bomber. Upon completing this mode, they can be re-challenged to a battle on either easy or hard difficulties. They can also all be fought at the same time. The Army also appears in Survival Bomberman, having captured all 300 Mini Bombers and taken control of the dungeons within.
Bomberman Land 3[]
In the White Zone, there is an event that can be participated in. White Bomber plays the hero and confronts the Army. The player will transform into a hero's outfit and must charge their attack using the O button. Once full, the player fires a laser and defeats Dark Bomber. The scene plays out in front of an audience and upon completion, the player earns a Zone Piece.
Bomberman Land (PSP)[]
The Army has taken control of each of the areas. When the player confronts them, they are challenged to a minigame and must beat the high score to win the game.
Bomberman Kart DX[]
The Army has taken control of various areas. Upon completing the game, they can all be re-challenged on easy or hard difficulties, or battled all at the same time.
