Construction Bomber (Genbāman in Japanese) is a member of the Bomber Family and is a playable character in Bomberman '94.
Description[]
Construction Bomber is identified by his hard hat and pickaxe. He is obsessed with destroying all Soft Blocks on the map, and will ignore the other Bombermen and avoid battle in order to accomplish this task.
Trivia[]
- His Japanese name, Genbāman, is derived from Genba, referring to a construction site, and Bomberman (Bonbāman).
- The name "Genbāman" was submitted by Yusuke Uetake from Tokyo, Japan.
- Construction Bomber was originally going to use his pickaxe to mine during his idle animation when not controlling him during a match early on in the development of Mega Bomberman for the Mega Drive/Genesis. However, this was scrapped as the animations for each member of the Bomber Family went unused once the game was finally out in 1995 in North America and Europe.
