- Chiamo is the 27th playable character added to Bombergirl.
- With the conclusion of the Bombergirl section of the Konami Arcade Championships on November 25, 2023, Chiamo was announced as the newest addition to the game via promotional video; being an Attacker, she receives a change from her original counterpart, wherein she attacks with metal finger claws instead of a box cutter.
- Chiamo's box cutter is now an accessory that can be equipped once pulled from the Bomber Gacha, and introduced with Chiamo's first dedicated event alongside other accessories and a new outfit.
- The Dec 15, 2023 Bombergirl comic reveals more details about Chiamo, where Chigusa addresses her as "the third daughter of the Moa family, history's most notorious clan of assassins."
- The January 26, 2024 Bombergirl comic finally reveals secrets about Chiamo's Special S-class assassin family as leaked by Chigusa to the cast and the audience, with Chiamo being in the role of a "typical" hit-woman. When all of this is told, Chiamo follows up by stating not to worry since "the Moa family targets are all government-requested; the targets are all bad people" in order to allay concerns.
- The October 11, 2024 Bombergirl post would finally reveal Chiamo's siblings and some details about each of them, with their official English names appearing in a police mug-shot mock-up situation on October 25. In birth order, Derel is the eldest son and a sniper, Bello is the eldest daughter and a hacker, Rega is the second daughter and a poison user, Chiamo is the third daughter with a rather direct hit-woman style of assassination, and the last child is younger brother Carne, a tom-girl Berserker with very surprising raw strength for his age.
