The Booster (ブースター, Būsutā), also known as Maximum Firepower,[1] is a trap that first appeared in Super Bomberman 2.

Description[]

It is a single floor tile, appearing as a red light surrounded by black and yellow caution stripes.

When a bomb is placed on a Booster, that bomb will explode with maximum power, equivalent to 10 Fire.[2] Due to its bomb-enhancing ability, this trap can be used to the player's advantage, making it easier to clear out enemies in Normal Mode and to eliminate other players in Battle Mode.

However, players should use caution when utilizing the Booster, as the large explosions may also catch the owner or a partner off-guard. In the confusion of battle, bombs may also be accidentally placed on Boosters.
