Bonus Letters are unique items found only in Bomberman World (AC) and Bomberman World.

Bomberman World (AC)[]
In this game, they are used to access the Bonus Stage. 2 letters are hidden inside a Soft Block in each of the first five stages of the 6 worlds, and collecting at least one is enough to access the Bonus Stage at the end of the 5th Stage. Each letter doesn't add any score point, but instead, they give a 15 second time bonus during the Bonus Stage (by default 15 secs). Collecting all the 5 letters of each world adds a total of 75 seconds during the Bonus Stage, making the time counter to 90 seconds. They spell the word "Bonus"; B O N U S.
Note: Although each stage features 2 same letters, the player only needs to collect one. The 2nd same letter doesn't add additional time bonus during the Bonus Stage.
Bomberman World[]
In this game, the letters are found only during the Challenge Mode. There are only two letters B and S and are only used to increase the score points.
- B: Worth 3200 points.
- S: Worth 6400 points.
