Not to be confused with Bomberman Online (PC) or Bomberman Online (Dreamcast).

Bomberman Online Japan was an online game in the Bomberman series released exclusively in Japan for PC. Its closed beta ran for a short period in March 2008 and the final game was launched in September 2008.

Gameplay[]

During battle, the players collect experience points which are used to refill the bomb waza bar and eventually the bomb waza gauge. If the latter is full, the player can execute a bomb technique. Items can be collected and saved in the Item Menu.

Termination[]

In January 2009, Shockwave Entertainment shut down 55Shock!, the online service Bomberman Online Japan had been running on. Subscribers shortly received a refund. In May 2009, Hudson Soft announced that the service would officially end on June 3, 2009.
