Bomberman Misobon Roulette (ボンバーマンみそボンルーレット) is an arcade medal game developed by Hudson Soft and produced by Eighting and Capcom. It was released in 1997.

Gameplay[]

As the name implied, this game focused on Revenge system you can find in the Battle Game. The game control with a single button. When you insert a medal, the game will start. The arena consists of Hard Blocks, a randomly placed Soft Blocks, a randomly placed unlit Bombs, and a wandering Black, Red, Blue, and Green Bomber, each holding a different amount of medal (1/1/5/10). You can press the button and start the game now, or you can insert another medal (max. 4) to increase the medal multiplier by 1. Once you press the button, the item roulette will stop, giving you one of the following items:

  • Full Fire: All the Bombs flames will spread all the way.
  • Bomb Up: Increase a number of Bomb in your stock by 1.
  • Fire Up: All the Bombs firepower increased by 1.
  • Skull: Inflict curse on your ship, making it move faster than usual.

You then have 10 seconds, and 1 Bomb (plus an additional second and Bomb for every medal you insert), to score as many medal as you can. White Bomber steadily moving clockwise, and only pause when you press the button to throw a Bomb (which also pause the timer). The objective is to hit other Bombermen with any Bomb explosion so that they drop the medal. Some Soft Block also contain 1 medal. The game end when the time ran out, or when you ran out of Bomb to throw.
