Bomberman B-Daman Bakugaiden (manga)

The Bomberman B-Daman Bakugaiden manga are a series of comics based off of the crossover of the Bomberman and B-Daman series. There are five books in total. While the books have common elements between them, the plot varies from book to book. The Bakugaiden animes also reference material from these comics as well. The books were published by Coro Coro comics.

Bomberman B-Daman Bakugaiden - Hero's Arrival[]

Hero's Arrival is the first manga in the series. It is based off the second iteration of Bomberman/B-Daman crossover (the first of which has no manga.) In the story, the Four Bomber Kings are summoned by the evil Dark Koutei, a giant eyeball that desires to conquer the universe. They battle against White Bomber, Red Bomber, and Blue Bomber (who is colored Yellow in this series.) The heroes use armor and mechs as well as firing blasts from their marbles.

This book was not adapted into either of the Bakugaiden animes.

Bomberman B-Daman Bakugaiden - Legendary Emblem[]

The third iteration of the Bomberman/B-Daman crossover. White Bomber is a prince and must battle his father, King Golden Bomber. The King is possessed by Dark Koutei and becomes Dark Bomber, who uses his army to attempt to destroy the solar system. It is up to White Bomber and his friends to stop them. New mechs are introduced in this series.

The first two episodes of the Bomberman B-Daman Bakugaiden IV anime are based off of this book.

Bomberman B-Daman Bakugaiden -2 ボンバーマン・ビーダマン爆外伝第2巻 (Front) — Bomberman B-Daman Bakugaiden - Volume 2

The fourth iteration of the Bomberman/B-Daman crossover. This series is written across two books, Volumes 1 and 2. White Bomber and his friends must battle against the Four Heavenly Kings (also known as the Shittenou) to save the universe from Dark Koutei once more. This series introduces B-Darons, animals that have special powers and marbles. Another new set of mechs are introduced here too.

Material in both books are referenced starting episode 3 and lasting for the remaining 46 episodes of the anime Bomberman B-Daman Bakugaiden IV.

Bomberman B-Daman Bakugaiden V[]

The fifth and final iteration of the Bomberman/B-Daman crossover. Dark Koutei returns in the form of Devil Vader, enlisting the help of the Three Devil Musketeers to conquer the universe once more. Green Bomber is introduced to join the heroes in addition to new mechs.

This book serves as source material for the second Bakugaiden anime: Bomberman B-Daman Bakugaiden V.
