Barukin (バルキン, Barukin), also known as Razor Dash, is an enemy that appears in Neo Bomberman.

Description[]

Barukin is found in Stage 2 and Stage 5. It moves at a normal pace, only turning upon collision with a wall or bomb. It tends to turn in a consistently clockwise or counterclockwise direction.

If a player lines up with it horizontally or vertically, and there are no more than four tile spaces between them, it may pause briefly before performing a dash attack, moving very quickly in a straight line in the direction of the player. When dashing, Barukin will not stop moving until it collides with an obstacle, at which point it will resume its normal movement pattern.

It will harm the player on collision and takes 2 hits (all modes) to defeat and yield a score of 400 points.

Trivia[]

  • The name "Barukin" comes from the Japanese words "baru", a term for an advance sharply, and "kin", a sound suffix in monster/robot names (giving a metallic or mechanical feel).
