- Asagi's name comes from "asagi-iro", which refers to a light blue color, thus referencing her blue color theme
- Asagi is the 16th playable character added to Bombergirl.
- The blade Asagi possesses is called the "Great Psychic Wave Sword" (大念動波剣, Dainendōhaken), which in the concept art for her character, is noted to be a reference to Getsu Fuma's Hadou katana. In addition, her second skill, the "Great Psychic Wave" (大念動波, Dainendōha) is a technique that allows to create 3 spirit swords, a reference to the Hadou Katana's special three projectiles attack ability powered by the three blades in the original GetsuFumaDen.
- Asagi is the ninth shortest character in the game, standing 152cm tall.
